Queensland's timeline

    2016

    Pilot schools undertake familiarisation and training.

    Queensland pilot schools participated in training and trialled the national platform in August 2016. The public demonstration site launched.

    2017

    Schools prepare to use NAPLAN Online.

    Schools that have nominated to move to NAPLAN Online in 2018 will be offered training and support, and the opportunity to participate in a readiness trial in Term 3, 2017.

  •  

    2018

    Schools opt-in to use NAPLAN Online in May.

    Queensland schools get ready to move to NAPLAN Online.

  •  

    2019

    All schools transition to NAPLAN Online.

    Schools will move to NAPLAN Online unless their circumstances prevent them from doing so.
