Training and support
The Queensland Curriculum Assessment Authority (QCAA) will offer training days at different venues across the state. This training is for all state, independent and Catholic schools who are transitioning to NAPLAN Online in 2020. This refresher training will provide information to assist schools with the administration of the NAPLAN Online tests. It will focus on the 2020 national protocols that are specific to the online assessment mode and the functionality changes in the 2020 assessment platform.
There is no registration fee and principals and other key staff should attend.
The QCAA training day is aimed at schools that have previously completed a readiness test and are ready to move online.
The training will run from 23 January to 18 March 2020, the training is presented across 30 days with over 65 workshops and registration for the workshop will be available soon.
Transitioning schools have access to the national training environment to support staff readiness. Students, parents, caregivers and other members of school communities are invited to use
ACARA's public demonstration of the online assessment platform.
